Last updated: June 18, 2026Welcome to JB's Band Instrument Repair & Rental. By accessing our website or utilizing our repair and rental services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. General Service Terms
JB's Band Instrument Repair & Rental provides expert brass and woodwind repair, as well as instrument rentals primarily tailored to school districts in the greater Houston area.
- All repair timeframes are estimates and subject to parts availability.
- We reserve the right to refuse service on instruments deemed beyond economical repair.
- Any instruments left over 60 days after completion notification will be considered abandoned and become property of JB's Band Instrument Repair.
2. Rental Agreements
Our rental program is a rent-to-own structure. By reserving an instrument online, you agree to enter into a formal rental contract upon pickup or delivery.
- Monthly payments accrue as equity toward the retail purchase price of the instrument.
- Rental accounts must be kept current to retain equity.
- The optional Damage Waiver covers routine maintenance and accidental damage, but does not cover intentional abuse, total loss, or theft unless accompanied by a police report.
3. Estimates and Pricing
We provide free initial estimates for repairs. However, extensive hidden damage discovered during teardown may result in a revised estimate. We will not proceed with additional costly work without customer approval.
4. Limitation of Liability
While we treat every instrument with the utmost care, our liability for loss or damage to an instrument while in our possession is limited to the current market value of the instrument in its pre-repair condition.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in Galveston County, Texas.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page.
